Funicular Sunnegga Express

For the redesign of the Sunnegga Express, the wagons were completely redesigned and the capacity of the trains was increased to 200 people each. Particular focus was placed on comfort and subjective feelings of safety, especially for the trip through the narrow tunnel. A sound-insulated interior, improved headspace, indirect LED lighting as well as restrained colours contribute to the new comfort in the interior. The external appearance of the funicular perfectly matches the modern, graphic appearance of Zermatt Bergbahnen AG.
